I kinda think he's picking the wrong time to sell this stuff. Perhaps he should sell it when the economy is better, or at least when people get their stimulus checks and income tax refunds in the mail.

Yeah, I read about it too, I even posted it here under the "OT:Almost Over For Bozo" thread.
And yeah, I was also wondering the same thing, if selling this shit has anything to do with his health. Like they say, you can't take it with you. Might as well sell the shit and spend the money on medical bills in hopes of living an extra day or so before kicking the bucket. I've always believed that the richest man in the world would happily give up every penny of his fortune just to live one extra day.

Plenty of people/corporations are going to come out and purchase this stuff and for lots of big stupid dollars at that....cause of who owned it of course. Jackson's the idiot and freak-of-nature icon of our lifetime but that won't stop people from purchasing this freaks goods. And then after the sale, watch for "clone" items to go on e-bay for sale as the "real" items.

Never made any sense to me whatsoever to sell personal stuff. Pass it along to your family's legacy. First and foremost, keep it selectively private. Ensure that articles, and funds, if you must give them up, are designated for worthy charities.
Label it pride, or family honor, ...point is, don't devalue your accomplishments. Even at the lowest return, keep the family fortune in a state of profit...even if only sentimental profit for your bloodline.
On down the road - when you're dead & gone - then they'll be the 'bad guys' to go public.
I just believe in privacy and anonimity. If you're the one who's made fame & fortune, then you have to deal with it. However, don't smear your family by trying to raise a buck at all costs.
But I guess that MJ already changed his family forever by doing all the facial crap. I mean, yeah do whatever you see fit to further your career, but geez, changing your appearance so much is admitting that you don't think your family history/legacy is worth much. So with that said, then maybe he should sell all his s#it to just anyone. I dunno. He'll die cold and lonely. Oh well...

Yeah, you might be right about that, or at least some of it. One thing for sure though, MJ is probably watching the news right about now and saying to himself how sure fucking happy he is to have gotten rid of Bubbles when I did.

He has been known to have financial issues. Serious ones. Amazing to me one who once could have been king of the world, is selling his things in a yard sale fashion. Wow. If he had made better choices in his life where would he be? Just wondering.
