OT: Stupid Commercials

The one that's really been bugging me lately is the Progressive Insurance chick. The goofy, loud, unfunny retro-looking chick. She was cute for about the first 10 second I first saw her. Now it's just old.
On an equally bad note, how about the new Geico commercials with the stack of money with eyeballs. These are beyond stupid. Please make it stop! I can't believe Geico actually paid money (probably way too much) to an advertising firm to come up with an idea and this was the best they could come up with?? AND GEICO APPROVED THIS???
The FreeCreditReport.com ones with the teenagers playing their terrible garage band music is getting old as well.
On a local Houston channel, they have these commercials for Cancer Treatment Centers of America. At the top of the screen there is this sentence that states: "These results are not typical. You should not expect to experience these results". So in other words: "We'll gladly take your money, try to save you, but you're probably a freakin' goner anyway." And here's the kicker...MD Anderson here in Houston is probably in the top 2 or 3 for being the best cancer hospital in the entire U.S. I know if I'm getting cancer, that's where I'm going. Cancer Treatment Centers of America don't even have a hospital in Houston!! The closest is in Phoenix. Why are these people trying to compete with MD Anderson by trying to get you to go to some place in Phoenix? Which probably isn't even covered under your insurance anyway??!!
