....When you could state a fucking opinion here without getting it locked or being banned. Wow...how times have changed all due to one sorry ass band.

I remember a time when you respected Andrew and this board enough not to trash it with your trolling bullshit. Have a nice day, ass.

Blow me, Rick. You were one of the ones who said "I'm done with Journey" as well. But then you turned on a dime.

Yep, I admit I said that, I was being stupid. Just like you continue to be. You and other people who think all of their boycotting and protesting is going to make a fucking difference. I've explained myself and why I changed my mind, over and over. And if you don't like it, that's tough shit. Arnel is a damn good singer. If you'd let your pride get out of the way, you'd agree.

If he could pronounce the fucking words he might be a good singer. You forgot to mention that one little tidbit.

Now, I make room for the possibility that I could be wrong, but I don't think Andrew or everyone else has a problem with your opinion, but how you've posted it. NealIsGod is another one who springs to mind who doesn't like Arnel, and there are a couple of people who think that he wasn't the proper choice, but they state as much in a more respectful manner. And things like "Arnel SUCKS, I don't care who agrees and who doesn't..." seems to lead some people to think that you consider yourself the sole arbiter of what is good and what isn't.

Good words. Liam, I understand, you don't like Arnel. It took me a while after the break up of the band to even listen to any of the new singers. I still feel Perry is the best bar none. But Arnel is good. That is just my oppinion. And you are well entitled to your own.

I personally let everyone have their own thoughts on these guys, but because you like someone, and hate another and are vocal about it, don't expect everyone especially Andrew, to applaud your methods. :D

I realize I may open a can of worms here, lol, but I have to ask.

What's the deal with the spite for this band and its members (current and former alike)? You have a group of people who hate Perry and dismiss his contributions, same for Neal and Jon and Ross and Deen and Smith and everyone else. I have several problems with all of them based on the decisions that they have made, but I don't know them nearly enough to condemn them in any true way.

As critical as I have been of Perry, I don't agree with the idea that he's pure evil or a shitty singer.

The way Friga and Schon deal, or more accurately, fuck over their lead singers. I actually feel sorry for Arnel because he'll be thrown under the bus soon too. I may not like the dude's singing, but he's gonna get caught in a trainwreck.

Bullshit, I agree, but no different than Perry canning Ross and Smith for an equally bullshit reason.

I actually feel sorry for Arnel because he'll be thrown under the bus soon too. I may not like the dude's singing, but he's gonna get caught in a trainwreck.

I disagree. I truly and honestly believe that if they do that, they'll lose all credibility. There'll be no recovery.

Curious, how so? SP left of his own accord after the band gave him plenty of time to return. They wanted to work, he didn't. What's the problem?
SA had to leave due to medical issues with his throat? Again, how did Schon fuck him over?
JSS had little tenure and the band decided that was not the direction they were going. So it didn't work out. How again did Friga and Schon fuck them over? I don't see it this way.

If THAT'S what you'd like to believe...please do. I'm not getting into details because it's not MY place to do so. Schon and Friga are shitheads, though, and I'll leave it at that.
