Someone already posted this, I believe. But thanks just the same.

Journey and W.A.S.P. on the same bill? That should be an interesting concert.

Yep. Compared to others in this lineup, Journey is pretty much the lightweight. Interesting.

Lightweights in that they're not a hard act, but if it's defined my musicianship, they'll kill that lineup.

Haven't heard Y&T in a while. Check out the size of the boomboxes the beach babes are carrying.

Plus he could pick up sticks and sit in with most of those bands without missing a beat, so to speak. :D

I remember a couple years ago at a sold-out show on the 30 Year Anniversary tour doing the ILAA thing. There was this kinda hard looking dude with this huge Metallica tattoo on his leg at the party. I asked him what he was doing at a Journey show especially ILAA, his comment was he loved Metallica, but he loved Journey too since it was great music and great musicians.

I ran into Y&T and Wasp in Tokyo over 20 years ago.

One of the best opening riffs ever, with JSS accompanying.

Meniketti... I'd recognize his tone anywhere... and one to the nicest guys you'd ever meet.

I can't. Just got done watching the Arrival DVD and Cain's got a huge set of arms on him; he could probably beat the shit out of everyone else in the band vice Arnel.

Then again, that was eight years ago.

Why is Journey playing this gig? Are they hard up for cash or something? Are they going to do some Soul Sirkus covers?

I challenge ye to name a heavier song than "Open Arms."

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Look into the Future
Out of Harms Way
Edge of the Blade
Chain Reaction

Can't Tame the Lion
Faith in the Heartland

Talked to Cain last fall, he takes good care of himself. And don't be fooled by the ballads, Journey can rock hard when they want. Schon will just get a little more burn time. He can do it. To play piano like he does Cain has to keep the arms in shape. :D

And that must be where SteveW2 comes in! 8)

Cain is in fantastic shape for his age Who would ever believe he is 58 or 59. He looks late forties to me. He has aged better than Neal or Steve Perry.
