Journey's HNL show sold-out already???

Looks like tickets just went on sale this afternoon and there is nothing left, not even singles. :( It holds almost 9,000. I don't know if they released all the seats or not. Anyway, I was really considering catching the Hawaii shows. Sunshine, white sandy beaches and Journey. Sounded pretty good to me, plus there were some great airfares out there. Oh Well, they better play some great places here in the states this summer since this one isn't going to work out.

I'm looking forward to the US tour. I'm gonna catch no less than two shows this year, somehow, someway. I really think the Manila concert is gonna go over like gangbusters. I'd like to be there.

They've always been huge in Hawaii. Good for them.

Tix went on sale at 9AM this morning, and according to the local news tonight, they sold out in 2 hours!
Reminds me of the Steve Perry days. Journey with Steve Augeri sorta came close, but never sold out in 2002 and 2004.
Lots of filipinos living here - I'm guessing that's why the sell-out.
They might add a show (per Tom Moffatt - concert promoter) but depends on the band, agent, etc.

Tickets in the first 10 rows for the Honolulu show are being sold by scalpers for $800 a pair up to $912.50 EACH.

First ten rows? Shit, I could see like just the first row and center, but not rows 2 through 10. Arnel's the bomb.

They can kiss my prick,i hope nobody buys them, and they have to resell them for what they are really worth.i wont spend no more the $60.00 to see Journey, they arent worth more than that, Maybe $90.00 to see them with another good band.Them scalpers will eat ther shit this summer.it will be good to see empty rows up front because of them cocksuckers.

This is what happened in L.A. at the Greek. The shows appeared sold out and the day before the shows, seats became available again with scattered open seats at both shows.
Bruce Springsteen was right to call Azoff out. Fucking crooks.
Let's see if Neal has the balls to say anything about this.

I don't have a problem with this practice, because the tour and radio stations/promoters will be returning seats that they had held right up until showtime. Anybody knows that you can pull some great seats off Ticketmaster if you wait until a couple of days before the show. People just think that it's sold out and then get rushed into buying tickets from other places at usually higher prices.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted it...guess I need to put on some Hemispheres or Permanent Waves... ;)

I am a little bummed, however, that no one commented on my Dorian Gray post in the "from Blabbermouth" thread... :(
