I'd be brave enough to say that Neal should leave Journey and reform Abraxas Pool w/ Rolie, and start touring....I'd pay to see THAT.

You know thats pretty funny considering the band was 'formed' in '94, but the CD didn't come out til '97....and TBF was '96. Doesn't add up, dude.

Lucky enough to catch Abraxas Pool live at the Filmore in SF back in the day. Great (spectacular) show - Neal was on fire, Greg kept it all flowing, Michael Shrieve is a great drummer live, and the rest of the rythm section was smokin. Intresting coincidence, Steve Perry had a solo gig not far away at the Warfield theater that same night.

Really wish that Greg and Neal had kept this little side project going. I guess Greg did, since most of his solo band are guys from the pool. I don't think Neal left Greg hangin on Abraxas Pool, but I will fault Neal on not following through with the initial Journey "reunion" that included Greg prior to TBF.
