David Paich - Chops, songwriting skills, tastefulness, variety
Tony Banks - He's so understated on stage, but he brings so much to Genesis's sound. If you've seen 'em live, you kno what I mean
I love prog bands but guys like Rudess don't always move me. Kevin Moore and Derek Sheridian were both more interesting players when they were in DT.

Robert's a great player too. So is Bill Champlin while we're talkin Chicago.
Have you heard any of Robert's work outside of Chicago? His solo albums and his collaboration with Gerry Beckley and Carl Wilson are great.

Faithfully, Open Arms, Seperate Ways, Don't Stop Believin', and Who's Cryin Now just for starters. Cain keyboard/piano is the first thing you hear in these and other American iconic songs.

What other "American
iconic" songs open with Cain's piano?
You named them all already.
I'll give you Faithfully, DSB and Separate Ways. Especially DSB.
That's as far as any kind of iconicism goes though.
