Question about WinRAR

Postby indigo » Sat Feb 28, 2009 2:06 am

I am computer challenged, and I hope some of you can give me some advice. I needed to download WinRAR to open up some files. When I downloaded it, my Comodo Firewall popped up and said it detected malware. I deleted it.

I have Windows XP. What version of the WinRAR do I need, and what site is safe?

What you're seeing is a false positive... Some antivirus programs will give them from time to time...
