Anyone bought his new DVD yet?

I've only watched half so far but I'm pretty impressed. The band sound really tight and Stanley is great as always. Good to see that he hasnt lost the Stanley Wiggle also.

I actually saw Paul 3 times on that tour and he was fabulous!!! His voice still sounds fantastic!!

I've always thought he has a strange voice, in the way that when he s singing you dont think that he is going to be able to hit the notes he is singing but always managers to do it anyways.

He is 57 now.

Paul's got one of the most unique and best voices out there! He's amazing, and the funny thing is that his voice got better with age. I think Kiss's earliest albums sucked both musically and vocally, but compare the albums as he gets older, and he's just amazing. I bought his newest solo album when it came out, and I'm still amazed he was able to do that at his age. I think he's still got more albums in him. Whether we'll ever hear them or not...who knows? I hope he keeps it up though.

Agreed...Paul's solo album was the best thing any member of Kiss has done since Revenge.

I think Desmond Child has alot to do with that, I hope him and Paul work together again.

A new KISS album this year though.

Oh, I'm sure. I've never decided whether Child just brings out the best in writers (Stanley, Bon Jovi, etc) or if he's simply the one writing all the super-catchy parts.

His name sells it. He has good composition...even if I have seen the same kind of subject matter and ability tons of time at the middle school or sometimes even grade school level art class.  naaa, art is as subjective as music is and what is considered art or good art is personal preference as well. In his case, as I said...I think it sells and at the price it does more due to who he is rather then his ability, though. Shoot, I've been painting all wrong and taking too much time on each one when I could be cranking out a lot of that type of style all day long. Too bad no one would buy one of mine if I did them the same..
