Pardon if this has been posted,,,, & not holding my breath, lol,,, but glad he's keeping busy,, (looks quite dapper)

Steve Perry and Catherine Wheel's Rob Dickinson?

When you live in Los Angeles, you never know who is going to fall into your songwriting circles, huh? Brit-popper Rob Dickinson (formerly of Catherine Wheel) is now writing songs with none other than Steve Perry, according to Los Angles blog Buzz Bands.

Dickinson told Buzz Bands' Kevin Bronson that he and Perry have been "having a strum," and that the Journey-man's voice has never been better. A match made in...Hollywood.

I'll write or sing background vocals in a song but just tell everyone, "that the Journey-man's voice has never been better."

This shit is getting so old and predictable. If it's that fuckin' good, then sing/perform. If he doesn't use it is just as bad if not worse than if his voice is shot. No one retires if they still got it. Athletes do not retire from sports if they still got it, they retire when they have or are starting to lose it. Musicians don't retire if they still got it, they continue to play. A lot of them continue to play even if they have lost it or even never had it. Taking a break is one thing, but not performing 21 out of the last 22 years is horse shit...if you still got it. Bottom line, fuck this dude already. I have already said I would never go to solo tour (if he did one), now I'm expanding that to a Journey reunion (if there ever would be one, which ain't gonna happen). I don't want them to reunite with Perry. The current lineup is fine, we don't need him. That's right, IF there would ever be a reunion tour - I ain't going.
