Good news for Journey, "Where Did I Lose Your Love" continues to move up the AC Chart. In it's 4th week on the chart, "Where Did I Lose Your Love" moves up another 2 spots from #28 to #26. Spins are up 30 to 120 now reaching an audience of 178,000. I continue my optiism that this song can catch on. Daughtry's "What About Now" is a similarly tempoed song that is sitting at #5 after 27 weeks on the chart and Nickleback is sitting on the AC Chart at #19 with "Gotta Be Somebody". There is certainly room for up-tempo music on the AC Chart. But I would still like to see "Where Did I Lose Your Love" try to get added to HOT AC and CHR/TOP 40 stations. On the HOT AC Chart Nickleback's "Gotta Be Somebody" is at #4, David Cook's "Light On" is at #7, Daughtry's "What About Now" is at #14, Theory Of A Deadman's "Not Meant To Be" is at #16, Hoobastank's "So Close, So Far" is #26, Buckcherry's "Don't Go Away" is at #29 and Saving Abel's "18 Days" is #37. All of those songs are mid/up-tempo/rock songs. I think there is room for Journey as well. It would, however, take some promotion of the single and that remains to be seen from the band. As I mentioned last week, April is open for the band so I would love to see them take a little time to promote the single in the States in preparation for the new tour dates.
