Wow, he almost gets that one dead on.
He can sing pretty well the later Journey catalog but maybe not so well the earlier tunes

as for Jim...I like Alex's voice
it's unique & different & he has his own signature sound rather than that of someone else.

MG, if you click on the song, he has quite a few on YouTube also right there. A couple are closer shots, but I can't remember the songs b/c I looked at so many.

I noticed that too it's not just the voice. you can see it in how he stands, and especially in the hand positions. Very much like SP.

Don't know how much is him singing or lipsynching myself.

As for looks, could have been a wig and to me the shape of the face was different even at a distance.

In the end, my advice would be "if you've got talent...quit trying to be Steve Perry and be yourself". :)

Yes, very true. Good voice, though it does sound like he's singing through an echo chamber (It's cheating IMO). Like to her his natural voice hey. Arnel sounds like that on some of the re-done classics, doesn't sound natural at all, it's actually pretty annoying to be honest, because when you hear him sing LIVE, sounds totally different.

Arnel can't sing the earlier tunes very well either. No one can ever match the original.
