I played AWYWI for my 7th grade band class today.

HEY!! IT WAS BAND RELATED and was educationally grounded information!! CALM DOWN!! hehe :P

It is a marching band arrangement that came in the mail as a free preview. I had to share it with them.

Especially since the lead trumpet player's name is Jurnee.

no schutt. 8)

and they all wear Metallica and AC/DC shirts to school everyday. WTFLUFF??????

6th grade trumpeter had a Hendrix shirt on today. I think I am in their ball park, musically, so it's all good.

This is making me feel old(er). When I was in high school, the marching band played John Phillip Sousa and old-timey junk like that. Maybe, if they wanted to get really funky, maybe add a little Chicago (25 or 6 to 4). Now they're playing Journey?...I gotta go lie down, this is getting to be too much...
