O.T. /Perry had a way with an audience

I was watching this video for the umpteenth time, and could not help but feel how much I miss hearing the man live. He had a presence on stage. And a mastery of making his audience feel good. I just wanted to share this video, for the sake of memory lane, and to ask others to add any video that they felt shows some of his best stuff on stage.

Where he sings "Cupid" about 4.25 minutes in..................my heart melts, and my knees too. He just has always had that effect. :D

One of my absolute fa-vor-ites!! Love it. Favorite Journey song. Favorite Journey lead singer (with favorite hair). Great performance. And this is during the time period when he allegedly couldn't sing anymore. I dunno, doesn't sound the least bit raspy or anything to me. It might be tune down a bit, but I like it right where it is. Works for me!

(I'll stop gushing now)

I love watching the videos from the FTLOSM tour. Steve seems so at ease and in control. He really looks like he enjoyed being on stage. :D

Uhmm...just how nostalgic are you feeling? Here's one of my favorites for when I need to go to my happy place. It's not Journey related, but, I love it. If you're feeling nostalgic, check out the attire - always good for a chuckle.

Saw him on that tour in Pittsburgh. Just freakin' KILLER. Yea, his voice was shot by then and he couldn't sing anymore.

He nailed every old Journey song perfectly and OWNED the stage, just owned it.

Can't wait to see him again live. We can just pray.

The Voice. The best EVER.

With a due respect The FTLOSM tour was not Perry at his best
WHY?
No Neal or Steve Smith to play off of
He was the ultimate in 1980 the guy was on a different planet
The SM tour was not that great compared to rare JRNY .

Love his performance of that song on the FTLOSM tour. This one has him slipping in a little of Marvin Gaye's Sexual Healing after Cupid. :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4L2wtZNdzg

I've got tons of old footage that I don't see on youtube, I really need to find the time to put up more. Thanks to my pal Rickster, I now know how. :)
