Must've been one hell of a May 21st....
Roll the Bones tour....awesome tour. They were opening with 'Force Ten' back then.....Dreamline should've been the opener. Best opening song they ever had. With all due respect to Tom Sawyer.

I LOVE Rush ....
Fri, Apr, 25: Superpages.com Center - Dallas, TX
Attendance / Capacity: 8496 / 11500
Gross Ticket Sales: 546048
the capacity is really 20,000
Rush basicly played to to an empty lawn if the 8496 is correct.
Too bad, because I'm sure a lot of folks missed a bad ass show.

Is that the same place where we saw Journey at? That's a big venue. Journey filled it or came really close.

That data is incorrect. Superpages Amphitheater holds over 20,000. And yep, it was sold out. On a Sunday night, no less.

Dallas and Chicago had the 2 largest crowds of the shows I was at. Dallas looked to have 20-22 thousand and Chicago had 26,000 in a driving rain storm.

Driving rain storm isnt a lie LOL...but it was still one of the best nights ever!! Here are some pics of the Journey concert in Chicago last year...
Knew it was gonna be a great night when walking to the entrance we met these 2 'ol guys and to top it off...they had TWISTED TEAS in thier cooler!! haha.
Ohhh did it rain...poured!
We were such troopers! No ponchos for us...
Any seat at a Journey concert is a great seat! The lawn is sometimes the best because everyone in the lawn are all celebrating together and are so friendly! Its like one big mosh pit...but to better music!
CHEYA! We were a were a hot mess!! But it was a night I will never forget...and cant wait to do it again!! WOOT WOOT!
OK, Im done posting pics....
Someone should start a thread with THIER Journey experience!!
Keep the naked ones private please...ROCKINDEANO!!

Oh I saw them, lol. I prefer about $480 worth of Grey Goose, Wash Apps, and tons of beer with my concerts. Oh, and a side of a lumberjack with a massive chest and arms.

Reminds me of the time my buddy and I went to go see Dream Theater and Yes. Few seats down from us was some guy sitting all alone with a greasy skullet, huge glasses, and decked out in a full denim suit (Canadian tux? is that what they call that?). Guy was drumming on his legs and boppin his head to the music all night long.

Thats EXACTLY what we said about him looking like a freak...like Dahmer. Tooo funny. He had an old ass running suit on and these DIRRRTY white gym shoes that HAD to be 10 years old. *Shame on me for making fun of them. they were nice enough to give me a Tea after all. * WRONG! LOL

Funny....cuz the best part besides the music, obviously...was watching and waiting for people to fall. It was soooo rainy and wet out there it was all slimy dirt UPHILL...and DOWNHILL if you go to get a beer. Well. There had to have been 15 people that fell right on thier ass that night! I know its wrong as hell...but the funniest one was a guy on crutches! I couldnt even take it! Why would you let your one legged friend go get YOU guys beer?!?! Na mean?? LMFAO...too funny. Im sorry. Shame on me, shame on me, but that shit had me rollin! I felt bad tho...
