Chorus:

It's a High School prom
It's a Springsteen song
It's a ride in a Chevrolet

It's a man on the moon
And fireflies in June
Kids sellin Lemonade

It's cities and farms
It's Open Arms
One Nation Under God

It's America

What does it mean when country songs almost rock harder than what Journey makes these days?

It means that the Horsemen of the Apocalypse are swiftly approaching.

Nora, I don't believe Adkins was going for the Journey reference, but rather the hospitality of the midwestern folk, with the neighbouring farm sentences.

And even he was, I would hope he would select a better song than OA.

Give Journey credit, After All these years was a good try. They need Arnel to trade in those Nikes for some shitkickers to make the transformation complete.

Ha, ha, you're right, that tune's faster than half of Revs.

Good one Nora, that tune is catchy.

Bruce and Perry will be proud.

How about this one - Drive Me Home by Tara's Secret

........

We were living on a prayer, it was more than a feeling
I’m a renegade and I still can’t drive fifty five
Girl can’t help it, we don’t stop believing
Oh Sherrie, love comes walking in

These songs keep me going and they’re something I’ll never forget
I got these songs inside me and I won’t stop listening yet,

Remembering rock, rock on my radio, rolling down the highway
The music would drive me home

Love ain’t no stranger to this man on a mission
I see that wheel in the sky, but I still feel like making love
I’ll rock you like a hurricane and give you double vision
Oh Amanda, I’ve been told its 5150 time

Don’t stop believing, keep on believing the music would drive me home

.......

Just how many song titles by MR bands can you fit into one song?

I don't know how to post a direct link to the song here but if you go to their website here http://www.taras-secret.com/intro.htm you can listen to it there.
