absolutley crazy back and forth . Epic game last night too. Makes one wonder if there isnt some script that both teams secretly agree too before they play.

Yeah, I'm watching it.....Nice baserunning blunder by Pedroia....have to watch baseball, the Patriots are trading their picks! First to Baltimore, then to Green Bay.....I don't get it. They need an OLB and an ILB....Clay Matthews(OLB) and Rey Malualuga(ILB) were available and they balked at both! Thank god I'm a Lions fan....

Neither of those guys is worth a fuck. The Pats know what they're doing (see 3 recent Super Bowls) and the guy they obviously want has fallen so they're moving up spots later by dropping down now. And I'm certain that along the way they'll still get the guy that they want.

PS A Lions fan commenting on how the Patriots maneuver is akin to Courtney Love giving Nancy Reagan tips on class.

This NFL draft is ridiculous. There are more strobe lights on this show than a Madonna concert. Get over already, please.

Hey G & T you have been in the civilized world long enough now to know that Baseball is just Rounders with a longer bat and that Football is Rugby for girls

I will be watching AGAIN tonignt a few things are for sure..if they yankees dont win Ill be pissed, game starts at 8 so I should be to bed by 12 30 and I will be hungover in the morning. These games take SO long, but so interesting. I have a hard time HATING the SOX"s since MAnny is gone.. Im a diehard Yankees fan and I dont' like the Red Sox's but it is more of a rivalary thing. Just wasnt a fan of Manny. I like Francona and Veratick and hate to see Big Papi at the plate I dont care if is batting 250 ( or whatever it is) seems to me he hits .750 when it counts !

Man, I'm so sick of it.

I DON'T CARE ABOUT NEW YORK AND BOSTON!!!

It stopped being interesting to me as soon as Boston won a title and their fans became arrogant and overbearing but still kept the whining act for some reason. NOBODY CARES outside of the Northeast and to be honest, those clubs are pretty boring with their aging and broke-down players. Standard ball game, as you pretty much know what you're going to get with both squads. I think Brett Gardner might be the only rookie on either squad. Yay! Maybe in a few days when Hughes is up again, I'll check out a Yanks game or if Buchholz ever gets another shot from his banishment to purgatory. Otherwise, there isn't anything intriguing for me to watch there. Funny how the champs of the EAST are still around (Tampa) and both teams need to get through them for a shot at the title.

Hell, l'd rather sit down and watch Greinke pitch for KC or watch an offensive explosion at Coors Field than watch a media-created rivalry that is over and dead.

Well, if I may say.....as someone who HATED Baseball...until I met my Husband....
my state, Connecticut, does not have a team....so, we are divided between the Sox and either the Yankees / Mets.

We take Baseball kinda seriously here....you would not believe the numbers of cars I pass every day on the Merritt Parkway with "Red Sox", "Yankees", or "Mets" logos on them.

So yeah....I can see your point about "not caring" about our Region. Guess you have to live here to know.

Hey...I live in NY State, yet I don't give a flying fudgebar about this meaningless series. I mean, how much do you care about the Dodgers/Giants rivalry? How would you like to see them play on national tv on ESPN games of the week on the Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday special games every week? Then the FOX Saturday game of the week everytime they play. On top of it, building it up like every game is game seven of the World Series....I am guessing you would be sick of it and just not watch like the rest of the country is sick of the NY/BOS overhype we dont care about.

Even without these games being nationally broadcasted, I'd get to see the games on YES anyway so it actually bothers me that the rest of the country is constantly spoon-fed a "rivalry" they couldn't give a crap about. It makes people simply hate the two teams more.
