If you are going to do a cover, this is the way to do it. I can totally go for Perry singing to this kind of Jazz arrangement.

If Journey would have done this on the re-records, it would have been genius.

I think David Pack did something similar when he redid a few of the Ambrosia hits. Instead of a doing a straight up re-record with older vocals , just mix the arrangement up enough where you get something new yet familiar.

Sorry Dude, I don't think I would like that style at all for Perry. And If Journey had done that, then I would've thrown the disc out. :lol:
