This sound great...i can't wait for this new cd get to the stores in my country!

Well how old is DIO now? he sounds alright, but extremely slow vocals, like it's in slow motion - perhaps he's showing his age?, I don't know... I don't think I am buying into this lineup, not today, they are too old to be singing metal like this IMO - probably should of moved on to something else over the years, Journey is no better either (pushing 60 singing high school prom tunes).

Sabbath cultivated this sound, so I guess they're going to be singing & playing it as long as they wish. I won't object. Age is just a number nowadays.

That's true mate, I guess my earlier post was somewhat harsh. And I think there's youtube recordings up, they could be shaky uploads, I will have to wait for the real CD to come out first, we'll see.

I was at my local indie shop scanning the used bins for other stuff, and completely forgot to swing by Best Buy to pick it up. I bought a bunch of used discs, but I'd never buy a new CD from the Alley because they still believe in slapping $17.99 price stickers on new arrivals. They're stuck in 1989.

yeap..RJ Dio is almost in his 70'!! the last time i saw him live (2007 i think it was) he sing like a GOD; i hope this line up NEVER move for other kind of music, in fact i admire them for not play what they don't feel , or what is popular in these days..about the album, well just for the samples i check, sound a little like what Dio did in works Magica,killing the Dragon and Master of the Moon (wich is good, altought must recognize i expect something like Mob Rules or H & H)..i will check them out this next week, because for my luck they will play here in Santiago!!

Ya compraste el disco? El canción "BB" si salió muy bueno. Sabes que? Estuve mirando Phenomena anoche. Pobre Shapiro al fin de la pelicula! Lo voy a mirar otra vez con el comentario de Dario y Claudio. Los composiciones instrumentales son como oro, tengo veinte años con el!

No aún no llega BB..sólo escuché las muestras (samples), pero ya me dijeron que llegará pronto a la disquería, tendré que esperar ya que encargar al extranjero sale muy caro...Phenomena es genial... si pobre Shapiro, llegó a perder la cabeza por participar en la película , amo a Goblin y el tema central de esta película es genial!..sabías que Argento terminó de grabar una película que se llama "Giallo" con actores norteamericanos, y dicen que la actriz Natalie Portman será parte de un remake de Suspiria, que se estrena el 2010...sólo espero que el maestro italiano siga sorprendiendo gratamente a los fans

Suena muy interesante! al parecer unen dos de las cosas que más me gusta lo prog y el giallo..lo buscaré..aqui en Santiago hay tiendas dedicadas al giallo, pero ellos saben lo que tienen así que es algo caro, igual preguntaré si lo tienen..gracias por la info Elías

¿cómo que repinche enano? MAS RESPETO SEÑORITA Yegua!! jaja ..si es verdad que suena lento, sobre todo lo noto en la batería, pero no he escuchado el disco como corresponde, no sé si es así por completo; no sé si tiene que ver con que quieren tocar al estilo clásico de Sabbath antes de Dio (temas lentos y oscuros) o sólo están más viejos, pero no lo creo; me da la impresión que quieren usar un sonido majestuoso....bueno te diré después que tal es todo, ya que este viernes tocan en vivo y ya tengo mi ticket asegurado

depende del cd, pero si en general salen entre 18 a 21 USD..más caro entre más difícil de obtener
