Hey ladies...just wanted to wish you all a Happy Mother's day, and hope you get to do something fun on your special day! I just got done landscaping (yes...at 10:00 pm) for my better half, and built her a stone flower bed. It's something we've been wanting to do, and she wants to put some flowers in it tomorrow. It looks AWESOME! I love doing landscaping. She's out with her lady friends for "Mom's night out" tonight. They do it once a month to get a break from men AND the kids! It is now officially "Beer-thirty" at my house.

Thanks for extending the wish...one of my children is off doing his military duty, another is working 3 jobs, and the other has work and college and they are states away and can't be here but I carry them with me always. I'll have their voices on the phone at least and I plan on having a great day of kayaking on a nearby lake and picnic on the shore with a friend. Happy Mothers Day to your wife as well and all the woman here who have been blessed with children.

My hubby is always sweet to me.........how many men will go sit in a coffee shop and read while you draw for hours? He does it because he knows the atmosphere is great for my artwork, and because after a week with kids at school, it helps me unwind.

Needless to say I owe him so much, and I try to tell him as often as I can.
