Knellsky: I am going to do a video letter with Neal

Postby Chubby321 » Sat May 16, 2009 10:38 am

On the transcript dated 5/14, somebody asked Arnel if he had seen the video letter of Neal. Arnel then said that he's going to do one with Neal during the rehearsals of the Sacramento concert. :D

He did not mention if the other members of the band will do the same but I'm pretty excited about this. :D 8)

Nice...This reminds me of the infamous SPIN or Steve Perry Information Network, where you could call a phone number and get a message updated from SP about the new record....and he did a report on the new Trial By Fire sessions where you could hear the band cutting up in the background. Think the band could take a page from that and build some anticipation.

They should rehire Beard and Poon and attempt to rekindle that very intimate relationship with their fans.

Edit: Though, I must say, Lori Carpenter is doing a very good job. She just doesn't have the experience of Lora and Cyndy.

Sure, but there's this cool invention called The Internet that has changed things from 1994 to 2009...Jeez.......has it been that long?

Which would make rekindling that relationship that much easier. Journey needs a properly run fan club, and I remember Cyndy telling me some great facets of Melissa Etheridge's. They (Journey) have come a long way, but they're still behind the times. In fact, they're so far behind that by the reaction of the fans you'd think they just invented blogging and video messaging!
