I think Queen was auditioning Adam. I thought it would for sure go to George Michael . Anyway, both are great and will have careers ! AI means NOTHING but advertisment, huge advertisement and then the real music world takes over. Oh, that is after they lose a year on the AI tour !

Okay.

They're all losing a year off of their careers, so what's your point?

I don't think it would work. It just wouldn't look right with a 20-something alongside Queen.

I think he has the ability to cover just about any catalog, but why would he want to go out on tour and sing two hours of songs someone else wrote?

I would like to see it happen, but....

Good point, why bother. He has the ability to create his own career.

That's what he going to be doing anyway!

I think I just looked outside and saw pigs flying over. Seriously, I think they both will have careers, and so will Allison. I'd like to see Kris do country.

Would love to see Adam and Allison cut a rockin' duet together. :)

I think they could have paired Allison up with somebody better than Cindy Lauper. It was alright, but to me it was kinda weird and wasted her vocal power. :?

I hope they cut a rockin' duet together too. That would be beyond awesome. When I saw Cindy Lauper, I was wondering how they would possibly connect. I agree it kind of wasted her vocals. She's so much more powerful than Cindy. Somebody must have had a few too many when they matched those two up together.

Kara did say the night that Allison and Adam did the duet together, that they should record a duet. She was over the top about it. So now all Miss Record Producer has to do is put her money where her mouth is, and make it happen!

Those two are just so cute together too. When Adam said she's like my little sister or something after they did that Slow Ride duet.......you could see in the group things last night and after he went over to the group after Kris won.......that they are good buddies. Would be a smart move to team them up for a song on their little Idol tour they do now with the top 10.

I agree, didn't fit. The only other person I've heard sing "Time After Time" with Cyndi Lauper is Sarah McLachlan on an acoustic album Cyndi put out a few years ago, and it's a really good version and match between the two of them, slow and haunting compared to the original.

That would be a very smart move, and it will be interesting to see if they move on it.

May and Lambert sure seem chummy at 01:35. My bet is he's already in.

If Queen picks him up, maybe AI will let him out of the AI tour. AI will get more publicity from him joining Queen than anything else. As if they need more publicity.

I bet they would take some flack for that, even get sued by other conrtestants still under contract.

The others are happy to get a nibble of the spotlight, I doubt they have a leg to stand on. AI can renegotiate I'm sure.

But I'm no lawyer so maybe SPFAN in Oregon can chime in?

Adam's glam enough. But can he do the range that Freddie did and I'm not just talking about vocal notes.

Queen did a lot of different style of music. Would the new music continue in that vein?

That's where I don't see it happening. The variety came from Mercury's personality not Brian or Roger imo.

Deb just posted this clip so it looks like you were right about the audition.
