OT: A good man needed our prayers. 2 years later....

Jerry Gallimore, a good man, a friend and coworker was in an awful accident early Sunday morning.

An airport bus hit his truck broad side.

He is in Parkland hospital in Dallas, in grave condition.

He's had 3 surgeries, including a stint in his aorta. He has broken ribs, punctured lungs and bleeding in the back of his brain.

He is in the best of hands, as Parkland Hospital is a superior trauma unit.

Please extend your prayers to my friend. The next 24 hours are very crucial.

How in the hell can this happen? Airports are one of the most controlled facilities out there.

Regardless, hoping the best for your friend and coworker.

I spent a couple hours at DFW/AA on Friday. Kept my eyes open for you. But no joy.

We're not sure what happened yet, but the bus company has assumed responsibility for the accident.

Prayers for your friend Rick. If he's at a Level I Trauma center, he's in the best of hands. We're lucky to live (and I work just down the road) near Central FL's only Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma centers. Makes all the difference in the world.

He's lucky also to have friends like you. Praying for your safety out there too Rickster.

Thanks everyone!

Jerry made it through the night, but is nowhere near out of the woods yet.

He has a skull fracture and is having trouble maintaining blood pressure.

I'll keep everyone posted as I receive any information.
