I wouldn't want a woman singing Journey.

I heard a woman singing, or at least attempting to sing, Don't Stop Believin in a club after leaving the Sommet Centre after the Journey/Arnel concert that was there. It was dreadful, ergo I'm not anticipating any other women singers.

No. Please no women. The debate even makes me quince. I love women, everything about them.. but not to front Journey or any rock bands for that matter. Even though there ARE some fantastic, if not better, lady singers out there that can sing the hell out of Journey music, it's all about image. Even a 5'4 Asian singer is more appealing to the band rather than a women up there. :wink:

You think Journey gets knocked for having too many sappy songs? Just imagine an even more feminine voice than Steve Perry. Sorry girlies, love you all.

That voice may be gone, but she still seems to be having fun (aside from the off-pitch camera operator chiming in) and be in the original key. Although, I'm not saying I'd want to see her front Journey either.
