Crazy Deb and I are seeing them in Houston on Sunday night ... did ILAA tickets and just got the word that there is a meet and greet with either Styx or REO (they alternate nights & we won't know who til we get there). I'm really, really hoping for Styx so I can say ohmygodyou'resohotiloveyou to Tommy Shaw.

I met Tommy Shaw back in 2004 in Dallas at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival. Tommy Shaw is super-short. I'm 5'-8" and he was way shorter than me. Really nice guy though. He was walking around the merchandise area.

I know, it is a bummer. Everyone online was very encouraging, but everyone around me at home was very discouraging. Should have just listened to you!!

It always sucks to miss a show that's completely out of your hands. I couldn't make the Journey show in Cleveland last September either. I'd be more excited for Night Ranger than Journey... they hardly ever come here and they kick ass live. Loud, tons of guitar, good anthems.
