OT - Rechargeable batteries

Postby S2M » Mon Jun 08, 2009 8:29 am

Just bought 6 Energizer rechargeable "C" batteries, and they have been in the charger since roughly 8:15pm LAST evening, and the lights are still 'red'....shouldn't these things be charged already? It has been close to 24hrs.

Anybody? Bueller?

16 hours is typical for standard charging. Never tried the fast chargers.

Yeah....the package says 16.5 hrs....but the lights are still red. I guess they'll turn green when fully charged. I keep thinking I've done something wrong.

Well... after having many rechargable batteries for various things in the house, I can say that I have run in to a few that wouldn't take a charge for nothing. I've also had faulty recharger bases as well. I'd suggest getting a second set of the same C Batteries and see if they charge. If they don't, it may be your charger base.
