Jessica, I know you're not a member of Melodicrock, but I also know you visit this site & so this is my thread to you. I came across this video tribute to Robert Downey Jr. & it reminded me of the time you shared a taxi cab with him. I remember you telling us it was raining & you were caught without an umbrella & so he gave you his jacket---to keep!!!! I thought that was pretty cool of him to let you keep his jacket. My favorite part is where you mentioned how just before the cab pulled away from the curb, he looked up at you & saw you standing there looking sad & soaking wet & he had a sudden change of heart because he felt guilty for stealing the cab right out from under you & so he had the driver stop the cab & then he opened the door & motioned for you to get inside. Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic, Jessica, but the image that story creates has a whole "Casablanca" feel to it. I bet you've never even washed that jacket, now have you?

Anyway, I know Robert Downey Jr. is "The only man you would leave your boyfriend for" because I saw where you posted that on your MySpace page & so when I came across this video montage, it made me think of you. I eat macaroni & cheese & peanut butter & jelly till i can't stand it anymore but I always pay my child support. I don't know what more I can do. Jason all kidding aside, she cannot keep you from seeing her on Fathers day...............what does your custody hearing say about visitations? I never kept the kids from their dad, and especially on Fathers day! He would not come see them but that is another matter..........Hang in there.......... Kids are not pawns.....she will loose..........my ex bad mouthed me to the kids so much, my daughter seldom has anything to do with him. Sorry hon......... Stupid woman!

If your visitation is written into the divorce decree, and you feel like being stern with her, tell her that this is her one warning, that unless there is some kind of family emergency, or something that will cause a detriment to the child, that this is the LAST time she changes your visitation, or you will get the court involved.

Jason, my heart goes out to you hon.I can't understand why people do things like that with there kids.Maybe she trying to get back at you for whatever reason.It's just not right to put the kids in it. If you pay child support, in your divorce decree it should be spelled out re visitation times and your rights. If she's not complying with that, she would be in violation and you can take her to court. If you weren't married, then you should have it spelled out legally and binding what your visitation days are. That's what courts are for, to enforce your rights as the father if she's not complying with the terms of visitation.
