To those who are interested to hear Schon talk with Paul Marshall backstage at Download about his early Marshalls.

Steve I hope you don't mind me posting it here. :D

Quarterflash is a stretch. I'll bet some of you are anxiously awaiting the development of a practical time machine to take ya back to that past you can't seem to get past. :P

New fans won't know that, Steve. A lot of people won't catch the riff they threw into Separate Ways either.
I could picture Augeri and company coming up with improvs for the songs but I sort of see Arnel as the type who just stays out of the way until called upon. When they're not touring he's thousands of miles away from the rest of the band, only to appear like a gun for hire when concert season starts (which seems to be for the best, as he can't seem to go a week out of the Philippines without getting sick).

I wonder if Arnel knows how to read and write music (not taking about songwriting here).

I can read it but that's all. My kid can do both and has his stuff on myspace. It seems easier for this generation to pick it up, maybe from all the free teaching programs on the net and what not.

That happens to a lot of people who venture out of tropical climates they are not acustomed to. He probably should have just turned down the audition.....afterall, nothing ventured, nothing lost, right? We'd probably have a lot less pissed off SMFP era Journey fans and even less pissed off Perry loons, right? Am I right? Journey could have then just slipped off into obscurity and everyone could just put their headphones on and listen to what used to be... Right?

I've been keeping track and right now Journey has the best attended concerts in a decade or more. They are reaching the critical mass...soon to become exponential. Mighty Mouse, as you refer to him, is becoming closer to leaving his own legacy behind. Believe it..it's on...and it's real. As for Perry? Bring him on...really. Let him try this grueling tour. He would not survive a season at this point in his life. That's reality. But turn it on for a few nights, then bring Arnel back in and it's guaranteed, people will finaly shut up. I know whats there. I know where it's going. I see the future and I like what I see.

I didn't say anything that wasnt true, dude. Stop being so defensive, You're as bad as us Perry loons.
I work with a lot of Filipinos who just came here the last few years and they don't get sick that often. They get used to it. I've traveled to over three dozen countries in my life and and have avoided getting sick, regardless of the climate. Preparing yourself is half the battle. Just ask Dr. Fu.
Last year Arnel went to Europe so this year he should have known what to expect with the climate change and what not.

As far as your other comments, I don't go theough the day listening to Journey. There is a lot of great music out there old and new. I don't need to hear Journey to start my day. That kind of adulation isn't normal. We all congragate here because of our interest in Journey but we don't live and die with the group. Journey threads are in the minority when you at the front page. There's other websites for the type of people who need the group to be the center of their universe.

What any of that has to do with Arnel getting sick is beyond me.
