Hey everyone, just figured I'd say Happy Father's Day to all of you fathers in here. I'll be going out on the boat today with the family to celebrate. Should be a fun day! I hope we have some luck fishing. :D

Best wishes to all those men out there who are caring and loving dads and who understand the difference between being a child's daddy and being the "baby daddy". Have a wonderful day!

Thanks everyone! I just got back from the lake. No luck with the fishing though! :x My Brother-In-Law caught a couple, and I missed a couple of really good bites. It was too hot today for the catfish. If we would have stayed after dark we would have caught some nice ones, but I had a whining Nephew with me who wanted to go back. Note to self..... Leave that damn kid HOME next time!!! All I heard ALL day..."I'm Hungry.......I'm thirsty.......When are we leaving?........ Are we leaving yet?.......how much further is it?........Is it much further now?........how about now?"

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm glad to be back and drop that little crumb-snatcher off at his house!!!!   Now it's relax time.

I think you're the one that suggested the benefits of the "quick throat punch".

Yeah, but my wife wouldn't let me!  I love him to death, but he's thirteen, and asks more damn question than a freaking 5 year old!!! He actually asked me today "Uncle Jim... Why did you buy this truck?". I said "oh, I just picked the truck I really didn't like at all from the car lot.  He asks shit like that ALL THE FUCKING TIME!!! My wife said to him earlier today "Do you ever THINK before you ask some of these questions???". He asks questions he knows the answers to all the time! I'm so glad that kid is home now.

Stevie-Woo, sometimes you can be a jerk, but you more than make up for it with all the times you are as sweet as this. Happy Fathers Day, my friend - your daughter is a lucky girl to have you. :D

Fun isn't it? I have 6 & 8 year nieces who ask a jillion question that always have a way of making me feel like I'm a senior citizen. "Auntie Kim, did you and mommy have DVDs when you were little?"

One of them, the 6 year old, has this thing now... trying to pull b.s. on me when mom and dad aren't around, like lying to get things she wants. She thinks she's smarter than me, and a couple weeks ago she learned fast that she wasn't.

Happy Fathers Day Comedyisnotpretty, you lovingly took on two kids that were not your own, and loved them as though they were, I could have not picked a better mate for life. :D

GI. Preteens and early teens do that because they want to socialize, and make conversation, but lack the know how, so they ask stupid questions. It is nervous talk for a child wanting to be a part of the adult scene.

I have raised two teens..................... :D

Hope you had a good Fathers Day! :D
