"JOURNEY CANCELLATION STATEMENT
Unfortunately a member of the band has been hospitalized due to MEDICAL COMPLICATIONS:
He is awake, stable, & coherent, but by doctors orders is being held over night for further observation.
Tomorrow morning we will hopefully know more concerning the condition, & the severity of the condition.
Journey sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience, or disappointment caused to their fans.
They deeply regret having to cancel the performance, & do so comfortable with the knowledge
that the fans not only understand, but want the best for the whole JOURNEY family.
Journey is commited to returning & fulfilling their obligations to their fan base.
Thank you for your understanding & DON’T STOP BELIEVING! Journey "

Hmmmm... whatever it is it was very sudden. Maybe someone is partying too hard? Hope it's something that minor.

We're all about speculation here anyway, so I think it sounds like pneumonia or a heart problem.

Here we go... 5-pager by 6pm CST. 10 by this evening.
Let the rumors, nastiness and well-wishes begin.

To whomever is ill, best wishes for a speedy recovery.

According to a Berlin friend, it was him. A heart problem of some sort.

Deen's drumming can be substituted but not his vocals, at least not naturally. :(

Regardless of who it is, let's wish him the best.

Deen is alot bigger, healthier looking in recent time. Let's hope nothing was taken to pump him up, that can affect the heart with arrythmias, etc.

Drugs can beat down a heart, even after the usage has stopped. Look at Andy Gibb.

I don't know why it was thought to be Deen, but that's who was being discussed on Arnel's site. I came in on the middle of the converation in the SB, so didn't get the fully story. But it has not been officially confirmed.. Arnel left a message he was okay earlier through friends. One of his friends is trying to get in contact with him and confirm who it was.

Didn't he have some stress issues a while back during the Soul Sirkus days? Burning the candle at both ends?
