Exactly.
Mine exludes Jrny because duh, we're all here. But my list was pretty much the top of my head top 10 albums that I knew I'd drive to Fye immediately to replace if I opened the case and found a scratch on them.

I think along the lines of 'stranded on a desert island' so I want variety and solid start to finish.

I hate "desert island" lists but there HAVE been times I've popped a dvd or cd open, found damage and went "can't have that" and drove right out to replace....

I was thinking of saying no GH albums but I knew people would do it anyway. Is ACDC the biggest act out their without a bonafide, non-live Greatest hits album?

I knew that was going to come up.

I'm saying a real album with one of those crap titles "The best of..", "The definitve collection', "...Greatest Hits". Something the casual fan would grab with out even looking at the back catalog.

Well, the question is listen to and not skip. In the car some of my all-time favorite CDs I still tend to skip a song here or there. All of these aren't necessarily my top ten favorite albums, but these are some that I can listen to in the car and never ever hit the skip button, love from beginning to end:

Journey - Infinity
REM - Reveal
Neil Young - Harvest
Bon Jovi - Cross Road
Tears for Fears - Elemental
Babyface - For The Cool In You
U2 - Joshua Tree
Seal - Seal
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Tears For Fears - Everbody Loves A Happy Ending
