In remembrance of Michael: Celebrate the music

Postby Blueskies » Sat Jun 27, 2009 11:35 am

There are other threads where plenty of commentary has already been made. This thread is to simply celebrate the music of Michael Jackson . The music has been a part of the sound track of many peoples lifes so post your favorite song by either Michael or the Jackson 5.

I'll start by posting the first song of the Jacksons I heard...

Unconditional love and world peace. He had a good heart. He never had the chance to be a child.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Michael was only a year older then me so I grew up following his career and the music really has been a big part of the soundtrack of my life. Michael was also my first dance teacher...starting as a little kid I would try to emulate his moves.
I danced along with him to many other songs like Dancing Machine...

and many more....as a kid...as a teenager...as an adult....many hours spent dancing and singing along with Michael.

This is on my top five MJ songs. Obscure, but nevertheless a well written song.

I can't post yt links from my phone, but I think Human Nature or Man in the Mirror is that one in my sig.

And if someone would post the link to 'Scream' I'd be ever grateful.

I remember sitting at my Granny's house waiting for the video debut on MTV in the Summer of 95.

Hmm... Say, Say, Say had a cute video. Remember the Time... I remember the MTV debut of that one and Black or White and being blown away by them. I hate they edited them both down, the original Black or White was 8 days long and just groundbreakingly innovative.
