Fact Finder wrote:Billy Mays was reportedly inside the U.S. Airways plane which made a hard landing in Tampa, Florida on Saturday. He has now died.

Son of Billy Mays writes on Twitter: "My dad didn't wake up this morning" and "He's gone. I'm gonna be strong for him."

This doesn't make sense. He survives the impact, but then dies hours later?

Billy himself tweeted this after landing: "Just had a close call landing in Tampa. The tires blew out upon landing. Stuck in the plane on the runway. You can always count on US Air."

I hope it's not like Natasha's death with the blow to her head that seemed innocent at first. How sad for his family.

This will go down as one of the saddest, weirdest weeks in modern pop-culture. RIP Billy.

Are we gonna have a thread every time any Tom, Dick or Perry dies?!?! No one can possibly give a fuck enough about this guy or his relevance in the world to talk about it here. I'm sad for his family...as I am for all families that have good, decent people die. Fuck, I'm gonna grab the Chicago Tribune tomorrow and start posting a thread for every seemingly decent motherfucker that's cashed in. Rant fucking over.

He had the funniest repeated hand jestures. Watch his commercials, he does about 4 hand gestures over and over. I used to get tickled at this.......

That's very annoying. My wife puts the tv up pretty loud as it is, then one of those commercials comes on and it's crazy how loud it gets. She just hits the mute button.

Hey there, all.....

Have any of you seen the "Pitchmen" show?
Billy's speaking-voice was SO LOW.....he was actually yelling on purpose.

Still....a very sad, weird, unbelievable last few days....

PS ~ To be honest....I thought I'd see a big "KIDDING!!!" after I opened this thread......

Wow.

R.I.P to Billy Mays. The most annoying man on Television. If they make a tribute to all of Billy May's commercials, I might shoot myself.

But nonetheless, R.I.P

Who's next? Any bets? Vegas?

And how fun is it to get startled out of your sleep by one of those comercials? Local comercials are the worst here.
