The wifeinator bought me this. I realize its a reproduction of a 1978 show since Jon Cain is in the pic but its cool nevertheless. Framed and shit even! These were taken with my crappy cell phone camera so forgive piss poor quality. I have been to the Fox Theater in Atlanta several times. Had no idea Journey played there in 78 and Van Halen opened. Whatever happened to Montrose????

Can't be real..isn't that Cain in the picture...he wasn't a member in 78...

Montrose played together a couple years ago on one of Sammy's tours. Sammy pulled double duty. But if I am not mistaken, Montrose did continue after Sammy went solo (and after Smitty left for Journey) but they failed to make any impact.
