They along with Journey were considered very pleasant surprises at the Download Festival. They received tremendous reviews from the British Press after their show. Aerosmith and them are going to be a hot ticket this summer.

Well, I just looked for any tour dates and Steven Tyler is sick all the time and they had to postpone several dates this summer... Billy Gibbons is a dear--he just captured my heart with this one interview in London--what a great guy!!

To be honest, I like Aerosmith but could do without them and evidently they've disappointed a lot fans so just seeing ZZ Top would be awesome.

I never thought about reading any of the British press reviews of these 2 and didn't find many reviews online. I will try and nose around in some of the British papers then.

Texas has really produced some fantastic musicians... Maybe it's the heat or something.

How did they close the bar down? They were there or they played until 3:30? Were you there, Steve, with them?

I have wasted too much time I think in the past few years by not really paying much attention to them but I am going to do so now.

I had an epiphany with them this afternoon especially after I saw that interview Billy Gibbons did. He plays the guitar with a glass thimble on his finger which I really like, too; like Duane Allman did... Eric Clapton talked about him during the Crossroads Guitar Festival a couple of years ago and I never really forgot about it--just had it at the back of my mind--but now I see why he likes them so much...
