Torchwood rocks

Postby Monker » Sun Jul 12, 2009 5:35 am

Ok, I just posted in the star wars thread...I just want to add this...

I just finished watching the new 5 part Torchwood mini-series "Children of Earth"...OMG, it rocked. If you are a scifi fan and have BBC America, watch it when it comes on. That was just incredible...awesome, awesome show.

I thought about posting a thread on this. I've not seen alot of TW ( I saw all of season one but non of the second).

I watched the five part this week... and... wow. Some of the best drama on television I've seen for a long while.

Without spoiling it for anyone, the final episode was just amazing from the script to the acting.. pure genius.

LOVE this show, I think the new season debuts in the U.S. today? It's been WAY too long.

D'oh!

It looks like tonight is another rerun. Not sure when the new ones will start here, but it's certainly not tonight. Maybe I should just watch them on you tube...

Torchwood? I somehow completely missed this! Is it strictly on the BBC Network? That's probably the reason, as my husband seems to believe that there are about only 10 channels on our cable system.

I really want to see this, but everyone I know who is into Torchwood has banned me from watching it until they have. Some nonsense about interuptions to say 'I know that place, that shot is actually 15k from the last shot, hey I think I know that extra' or some Cardiffy rubbish like that...

Hopefully BBC America didn't chop the shit out of Torchwood: Children of Earth, like they have chopped the Doctor Who Series...

I watched every episode of this show 24 hours after it was shown in England (over 5 nights).... ( yes, that means I saw it before it came here...) And the beauty of it... no stinking adverts! :D
