I just wanted to let you know that I just posted a new version of "Take Me Away" on Myspace. This version is only lacking the rhythm guitar tracks (which I should have back in two days), then it's complete. I REALLY hope you like this, and it's one of my favorite tracks.
I have another song that I'm trying to finish this week that I think you'll REALLY like. Alex thinks it sounds like a Journey song, and I agree with him. It's pretty upbeat, and I think a lot of you here will like it. I'll definitely keep you posted (as always!).
Please drop by Myspace and leave me a message. Thanks very much for the support, and I hope to hear from you all! Just go to www.myspace.com/jimrykbost to check out the new song. Thanks!
Jim

Thanks! I'll be posting more stuff on there very soon, because Alex has been working on some new stuff for the last couple of days.![]()
I think we have finally found our drummer. We have been in touch with eachother today, and he's a mutual friend of Paul Logue (our bass player from Eden's Curse). He seems like a really nice guy, and if it works out... we'll be making the announcement very soon! I'll keep you posted.
On a separate note, the artist who did the cover art for Eden's Curse's album will also be working on ours. I believe that they're album cover just won album cover of 2008 if I'm not mistaken. I can't WAIT!![]()
I also found out yesterday that a song I worked on a couple of years ago will be seeing a world-wide release very soon...

Who let you out? You're as rare as a Perry siting. We may have to delete this thread now also to remove the evidence that you were even here.

A. M. Scott wrote:Hello everyone,
I think it is well known think now that I'm not a real big post-er here and/or anywhere else as I'm pretty shy about it but I thought I wanted to post few lines just to say a couple of things regarding the "now-named" Cold Heart band but most importantly about who's here "now-named" Jimbo I understandJim Rykbost for parents ... and JameZ for me
.
Now he'll be calling me "Alessandro" with that Southern accent that makes my name sounds like "Aleghzandrou". Looks like I'm Turkish (laugh) .
Well, now seriously: when I first met JameZ (ops...i did it again) I don't remember how exactly we just started working together, maybe I hooked him up through melodicrock.com forum here...but I remember he first sent me "Rumor's Out" basic track with his own voice and I thought "Man....this is the shit I'm supposed to be born to sing on"and immediately after hearing it I asked to send me a copy of the file without any vocals so (btw..I'm listening to Rumor's out now...yes...I like so much his tunes that I keep listening to them) I had the chance to lay down some voice on it. From that night on...through every kind of problems...we kept working hard on things...I should say HE kept working hard on things...and now I find myself singing and playing guitar on more than 8 songs that I litterally LOVE!!!! Yes...because...TRUST ME, NOT HIM...even if I sing and play songs in this band...JameZ's the real loaded gun.
He is really impressive...he's never tired of delivering ideas and brand new stuff. Last but not at least...I think he won't be offended if I say here we've become real good friends...we talk over Skype (we're saving money for the production so we don't talk over the phone from IT to USA...AND...when we do...I PAY FOR IT... JameZ...you damn penny-pincher!!))) most every day even just to say..."Hey man how's today? .. are Mel and Austin (or Isabel in my case) ok?" and I think this helped improving our partnership and massively helped our songwriting process even if we're miles away from each other.
Alright ... now...we're going to make it...we have so many things up running I can barely believe itbut it's here and it's soooo fun, soooo good.
I would like to end my "tome" here just sayin' that I'm flattered and honoured to be involved in this band...I thank JameZ who gave me this opportunity and I believe this is a long-term commitment....we'll probably never be compared to Journey, Foregneir, Survivor or Giant but I'm sure with a hell of a production backing JameZ songwriting along with the great performers we're involving in the band, we will succeed in delivering a really enjoyable product.
I'll quit just thanking once again JameZ for our partner-friendship and all of you guys supporting and delivering reviews, suggestions on our work...you helped us improving and we hope you'll keep on doin' it in the future too..
Thanks again
Alex Mark Scott
