Sony is milking this tune for all it's worth. New kids flick. Song starts at the 1:26 mark.

One of my favorite books as a kid... the imagery in the illustrations are unforgettable. Seems the movie adapted a lot to allow for an actual 'plot'. The book was just about a little village where the tornado was made out of tomato soup... the fog was pea soup... snow was mashed potatoes. And a pancake falls on the school. Nostalgia, FTW!

I was going to say the same thing... this bears only the slightest resemblance to the book, which was one of my daughter's favorites for story time. Looks like it could be fun, though. And she's a Journey fan, so she'll be stoked!

Despite, Revelation's newer cleaned up versions, producers are still using (as some like to refer to them) the effeminate version, just like Monsters VS Aliens and Bed Time Stories did. I think if other younger bands did alternate covers of the songs, movies might use them but for an original group to cover it's own song with a straight up copy, why pay Perry royalties and then use a soundalike who people will think is Perry anyway?
It wouldn't make sense. Not mention, having to deal with Wal-Mart.
