The interview has been on every hour across time zones since 10AM... I life in GA and I have listened to 3 so far and the 4th time zone is on now out of Vacouver. Here is the link....Steve will be on the show in about 30 min into the show.

Here is the link that I am listening to right now....

that is a direct link...be patient it takes a few minutes to buffer in. You need Media Player 9 or higher to listen in.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for posting the link LyricalLady. Great interview. :D I was very touched when Steve got choked up talking about his mother's belief in his talent and how she supported his career choice. I can see how losing her must have devastated him at the time. I was very disappointed that although the interviewer mentioned all the mail he received about fans wanting to hear more music from Steve, he didn't pull the trigger and ask the question on everyone's lips. He also mentions after the interview that Steve is working on solo material, but he could have gotten that information off the internet. I was disappointed that Steve himself did not confirm or deny that he is in fact working on a solo album. :(

I assume that there were conditions on SP's agreeing to do the interview otherwise any interviewer worth his salt would have asked those questions.

I know I'm dumb, but I still can't see or hear the interview. Both links take me to live radio. Anybody have a direct link to the interview?

You need to check out what time it will be for you to listen but here is a link for the show. The show will air again tonight at 10 pm Canadian time. To hear the show just click on the link below and to the right look where it says CBC radio one and select location to listen to local broadcast. Select the one closet to you. A small window will come up asking if you high bandwith (highspeed) or low bandwith (dial-up) Click on which connection you have and it will play the radio station in windows media player.

-------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think there was a dry eye in the house, (at least mine) when he got choked up. I wonder if being so private, ( and maybe not trusting alot of people,) he is lonely. For a man that is so intensely private, it surprises me that in interviews, ( others that I have heard and read) that he wears his heart on his sleave. It is nice to hear someone being so vulnerable.
I wonder if this stops him from being interviewed more? Awwwwww, so many questions, and no answers.
 :( :(
