Should he be reinstated into the NFL?
personally I don't think so because there are many out there that deserve a shot at that job that are
just as talented that didn't torture innocents....did he pay his debt to society? I don't think so....he cost
the judicial systems tons...$$$ and its not a racial thing, the dude is just a thug~

He actually went to Jail. What's the point of releasing him if he's not allowed the opportunity to get his job back? It's not like he was working at a pet store before this all went down. You've got guys who have killed people while drunk driving, been involved in shooting and spousal abuse. Most of them haven't even done jail time but are allowed to play in the NFL. How can can the Commissioner allow their continued employment yet deny Vick reinstatement into the league?

I personally think anyone convicted of a felony should not be allowed to play professional sports at all. No different than when our jobs run background checks on us. It should not be a right but a priviledge IMO and yes he is a thug!

Good point GB, I don't agree with what he did, but there are people who have done worse.

I agree, anyone else who has a felony conviction plays hell getting a job after they get out. They aren't guaranteed their job back when they are released.

Exactly. It's not like he would not have to compete to get a job in the NFL, he would have to try out just like any other person would for the position. There are no guarantees that a team would sign him or pay him a large amount of money.

My concern is what kind of person electrocutes a dog for not performing well? Unless he is remorseful for what he has done what will he have learned? You do a little time................and all is well. Maybe he can go back. But I would hope a little wiser and a great deal more humane than before. That is a sick culture. Bloodthirsty and cruel.

I think his sentence should of been harsher than it already was. With that said, the dude DID do his time, and therefore could prove he isn't the thug he was 2 years ago. Unfortunately for him, he sucks anyway, and it would be my pleasure to now watch his career in the NFL falter because of it. 2 years out of the league in the NFL is no easy task, esp. since he's not even been around ANYTHING football related. The guy is going to get eaten up, and it's going to be hilarious because he wasn't even that good in the first place. Michael Vick= the most overrated Quarterback in all of football. Can't wait to see him get splattered, if he even see's the field again.

Go ahead and reinstate him. I doubt any team, other than Oakland, would consider signing him anyway. At his age, it wouldn't be worth the distraction. He was already on the downhill side of his career before he went to the pen.

Glad to see the poll headed the direction it should be...toward no. He's just so sub-human.
