I'm  here at work as I read that. What an incredibly beautiful epilogue, so heart felt and open. God bless you Jeff, so very sorry for your loss. :( RIP now Marcel.

This was so touching for Jeff to write this but so sad. I now understand him leaving this earth. I had a family member with serious back pain, herniated discs. It happened to her at the age of 30, an athletic, healthy woman. It is devastating to watch what chronic severe pain can do to someone, with no relief in sight, your quality of life and the depression that goes with it. I had a touch of insight into that for two years with unrelenting back pain from an injury that almost sent me over the edge going from doctor to doctor. I used to be in depositions all the time with people in severe chronic pain and just really didn't understand or have enough empathy for what they were going through until it happened to me. It can destroy your life. So I truly feel for him and all the agony he went through for so many years and, at least, now he is at peace and out of pain.

Yes, very sad.......especially being such a talented bassist to have your body and fingers start failing you. Glad Jeff talked him into coming and filming the W.E.T. videos with him, probably the last performance footage of him and his bass. :(
