Kid Rock & Skynyrd

They kicked ass last night in Saint Louis. The show was sold out (20,000 people), and it was one hell of a party. I never was much of a fan of his music, but they don't call him Kid Rock for nothing. I would put him in my top five best rock entertainers list, right up there with Sammy Hagar and Mick Jagger. He may not be the greatest singer in the world, but his stage antics make up for it. His band was awesome, and he is obviously a big hit with the ladies because I haven't seen that many hot dolled-up females at a concert in a long time.

Lynyrd Skynyrd opened the show, and they kicked ass too. The place was packed with rednecks, stoners, rebels, and hot babes - and the bands delivered the goods. What more can I say? It doesn't get any better than that!

You're in the minority. I've never seen Verizon Wireless Amphitheater that packed for a concert before.

Kid Rock is not skanky. He's cute and sweet. He is also very talented and has sang everything from country to rock to rap. Pretty impressive. Not many singers can lay claim to that fact. And Skynyrd is just classic!

He does have a certain appeal - for this lady anyway  . Not quite sure why, he's not exactly handsome but there is something about him . . .

Anyhoo - is Ricky Medlocke still in Skynyrd? Haven't kept up with what they're doing for awhile, but Ricky's always been a fav of mine (except I think I may be spelling his name wrong - never sure if it's Ricky or Rickey).

While he does appear to be a pretty cool fella.... Kid Rock "sings" about as well as T-Pain and Biz Markie...

Not a bad looking fellow by any means.

He's a front runner. The guy will sing whatever will make him a buck. He has no musical identity and his lyrics are fucking atrocious.

So is sticking a grapefruit in your ass. While it might be impressive, he didn't excel in any of the aforementioned genres. But his image sold recoreds and you have to give the people behind the curtains credit for that.

Nor would they fucking want to! I could just see Garth Brooks singing Fuck The Police in between Friends In Low Places and The River.

About time you made some fucking sense.

I've seen both bands just not in the same concert. Skynyrd is just a great band, (so much history) and Kid can rock his ass off! Man, I miss living in a big city, I miss all the great concerts.
