OT Mitch Malloy

Got my live at Firefest DVD today. Incredible. He does great version of Stone in Love that leads into Anything at All. Tommy D is awesome, the bass player is great and the drummer looks like he's asleep (but he plays great!).

If any of you don't know Mitch check out the clip below.

Hey, are Deb, Maria, and I in it (three Chicas with blue sparkly cowboy hats in the front row)? We were standing right in front of Tommy.

Just a sec. I'll have a quick run through of the crowd shots.

Can't see any cowboy hats, There is no on stage filming so you mostly get the back or sides of peoples heads. There are definitly some girls in front on Tommy, but can't see any cowboy hats. Only checked Mission of Love though. I know Tommy has been watching this DVD intently today. I'm sure he will let you know.

Mitch was actually chosen to replace Hagar in Van Halen in the late 90's, but opted out because he didn't feel he fit what they were looking for. I'd still LOVE to hear the demo's they did. Subsequently, the VH guys went with Cherone... Although GREAT in Extreme, that album he did with VH spent the least amount of time in my CD player of ANY cd I've ever bought.

Good song but disturbing vid. His pants so tight and hair so long its hard to tell who's the chick and who's the guy. LOL Like he's doing an imitation of Tawnie Kitain with all the hair flippin.

I used to see his cd, the one with him walking on the cover in the bargain bins at record stores in the 90s. Never picked it up so I missed out on some good stuff.

Guess he got thrown under the grunge bus too.

I ordered mine as soon as I saw Mitch was selling them on Facebook. I really loved Mitch at Firefest and I purchased his Best of Mitch Malloy cd at Rock City. I still listen to it all the time. I can't wait to get this dvd! :D Maria, Linda and Deb, I hope I see you gals wearing your cowboy hats. Sandy and I were on the other side of the stage and I never put my hat on and wished I would have now. Oh well, I hope I see us all in the video!
