OT Mint vs Quicken?

I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences using one of the online money managment tools out there.

I'll be taking an early retirement in the next month or so and need to get my finances in order to plan on a fixed income. Any advice on easy automated money management tools would be appreciated since I've never been good at keeping up with a budget.

Find out which one will connect to your account first. If they both can handle all your accounts, then it's really about how easy you want to make it. Mint is a lot easier to use for checking spending trends ans such but Quicken online is the one for you if it's just about balancing your budget.

Thanks Linda and GB. I think I'm going to give Mint a try especially since I plan on getting an IPhone. I'm still a bit concerned about security issues with these type of sites, but I can't find anything negative.

Thanks Rick :D The allure of early retirement, beng able to cash out my pension now and a very nice severance package was just too much to pass up. I'll enjoy the time off but since I'm stuck in Chicago untill I can sell my house wihen the market improves, I'll probably end trying to get a job for awhile after at least a couple months off. It's still all good. First order of business will be to learn Spanish. Rosetta Stone here I come. :D :D

It's definately going to be back out west since I really miss the mountains. So Nevada, Utah and New Mexico are on the top of my list right now. I'll be checking out the Vegas area the first week of October. :D :D :D

Cool. If you go to New Mexico, I'll come see you around ski season. ;) We went to Red River a couple of years ago. It's hard to describe how beautiful it is up there.

Well I'm probably the only weirdo who thought of Mint the Linux distro (probably because I just installed it, though)
