How stupid can you be?????

Suspected Aussie thief caught napping in car wash

ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) -- Police say they have arrested a suspected car thief whom they caught napping at the wheel of a stolen car.

South Australia Police say the 30-year-old man drove the Audi convertible into an automatic car wash early Monday and apparently fell asleep. A service station attendant called the police at 3 a.m. when he noticed the car hadn't moved for an hour.

The police said in a statement that the car has two different license plates and that police discovered it had been reported stolen in July. They woke the man and arrested him on charges of illegal use and theft of the car.

He has been released on bail and will face court in September.

I'm just saying...... :lol:

We would hope so, but humans ARE stupid on their own a lot of the time :shock:

I once arrested a woman for Drunk Driving. I pulled up behind her at a traffic light. When the light turned green she didnt move I hit the siren a couple times and still nothing. I approached the car she was passed out with her foot on the brake. I took her to jail. The next morning she couldnt remember a thing. She kept asking the Jail guards how she got there. Thats a whole lotta Drunk!!

IF he was then he would have be caught by the loud 80's rock blaring from the sound system in the car...not because he fell asleep in the car wash! ;-)

Its funny that you mention that. I work in a bank, and I can tell you that the general public is stupid and getting more stupid every day. If breathing wasn't involuntary, alot of people would just die. We had a guy fall asleep in our drive thru this weekend. And thats just the tip of the iceberg.
