Always a talented, talented dude. Writes great songs, plays guitar well, sings well. You know, all the things that 9 out of 10 young musician's DON'T do, these days.

I remember when I was in Jr High school, all the girls loved him on General Hospital. Him and John Stamos. I'm as straight as they come, but those were 2 handsome dudes. I actually got into that show for a long while so that I could use it to talk to girls! Whatever it took. Ah, man I miss being a young guy, things were so much easier. I had such potential. I'm not sure what the hell happened?!

Anybody else miss their childhood as much as me? I was lucky to have had a GREAT one. I know others that didn't and I feel sorry for them for that.

I missed Rick on the show, damn it!

Yeah, I miss my childhood too. It was great. Always happy, had allot of friends, it was great. But I have a great life now too, I am happy and healthy, one can't ask for more than that. I wouldn't change a thing.

Yea, I think the remark was something to the effect that Rockindeano would rip me a new asshole if I crossed his path.   Apparently that person did not know much about me at all because I still only have one asshole! LOL

Here's some Springfield for you. The bass guitarist is Beeb Birtles, a founding member of Little River Band.

It's been forever and a day since I heard anyone talk about the Little River Band, man I used to love them. Now see what you did, I have to go find some LRB to listen to now, 8) 8) 8)

That is cool as shit, I had no idea Beeb and Rick were in a band together. LRB rocks, bust some out journeygirl. Birtles Shorrock, and Goble - Full Circle is an excellent live DVD too.

GB, what are your thoughts on the current incarnation of LRB? I think they make some great music... Greg Hind is an awesome vocalist. Test of Time and Where We Started From are both great albums.

Honestly, I don't care for it. To me, they sound like a poor man's version of America. Nothing wrong with the vocals but the harmonies no longer sound natural to me as they once did.

I'll take Driven By Dreams over those two albums any day.

I also dug Grant and Celia. He was a spy and she was hot! Sherilyn Wolter played Celia and Brian Patrick Clarke played Grant. Cool show.

Like I said, I originally started watching so that I could talk to all the hot girls in my school about it, but then I became addicted!

Now you guys have done it. Monker should be in soon to talk about LRB/BSG. He knows as much about them as he does about Journey.

I remember back in 1982 when I used to come home from work, fix a sandwich & crack open a bottle of Pepsi & sit in front of the TV just so I could watch Dr. Noah Drake, Luke & Laura, Holden & Lilly, Grant & .... uh..... that one girl Grant was dating. Oh man, those were the good 'ole days!!!!

WAIT A MINUTE!!!!! I was four years old back in 1982. That must have been my mom.

I think I was watching Thundercats.

Rick Springfield's a pretty good singer, though. I can't say I know too much about his acting, but when it comes to his singing, I always like "Jessie's Girl" & my favorite song of his: "Affair Of The Heart."
