I was a huge fan of the Cars when they first came out. Ben Orr was an awesome musician and singer. Check this out:

It's pretty amazing that these guys reached the heights they did considering they look like a bunch of casting rejects from Revenge of the Nerds and they had much of their success during the video age. I think if they come along just a few years later they might have flopped just because of their image. But they are a great band. I saw them twice with Todd Rundgren in The New Cars and that was a blast.

He was always a skinny dude. I remember his days with the cars and when he did his solo stuff! Unicef poster boy!
