So I walk in the house this morning, turn on ESPN and see a developing story in the NFL. A anonymous Vikings player has reported that Brett Favre is indeed signed on to be the Vikings Quarterback and it's pretty much DONE and he will be in uniform by Week 3 of the pre-season. This article was just posted on Fox Sports.com

More to come, but who REALLY thought this was the end of this? Shame on you.

I just wish he would make up his mind. I also hope he doesn't get hurt. He's one of my favorite QB's of all time, just because of his competitive nature. He's one tough bastard. Just a little too indecisive for me lately.

ESPN is now reporting that Brett Favre is now boarding a plane heading to Minnesota to sign a contract today with the Vikings. Let the games begin! As a football fan, I'm STOKED to see him go back to Lambeau as a rival of the team that made him. What great television this is going to be! Favre Vs Rodgers Vs Cutler. Hell yeah.

What about Stafford? He's the best of the bunch.

He's thrown 2 passes in the pre-season thus far. He's taking over a team that went 0-16 the season before. The jury will be out on Stafford for a good while.. as the same should go with Rodgers and Cutler as well.
P.S: Tough luck, Angie!

Favre is reported to sign a 2 year contract worth 10-12 mil. Not ONLY that.. but Chris Carter said that he will START in Friday's pre-season game. Favre has run this system in Green Bay for well over the majority of his career. He can sleep walk through this system.
Last year with the Jets, the offense was tweaked around him and Favre going out there slinging, but with the same offensive system he has ran in decades.. this makes Minn the team to beat in the NFC.

Please leave the post- handoff fake pass in retirement, though.

That hasn't frozen a linebacker since 1997.
