....that is beyond cool. Glen Campbell was one of the in demand session guitarists in the late 60s. He knows what he is doing.

Glen with Stone Temple Pilots. What a great song, one of Jimmy Webb's best ever, IMO.

Lol ... you guys are too young to know Glen Campbell  . I had a crush on him back in the day  . He had some good songs, a summer TV series, and got 2nd billing with John Wayne in True Grit. His star power faded somewhat, though, through the years as other fresher acts took over. I guess people still remember him as one of the first country music icons whose songs crossed over.

Glen Campbell from Deeee-light, Arkansas...one of the true greats that's done so much that most people know, but don't know it was him.

Several country guys that were/are great pickers - Glen Campbell, Ricky Skaggs, Steve Wariner, etc. If only more rockers & young punks would go discover them....

later~

I remember. He was hot stuff back then - on the radio, t.v., movies. I saw him in concert in the 80s - a good show. He had a lot of good songs...here's one - "Dreams of the Everyday housewife": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM1yWydW ... re=related

Now THAT was one of those Rare Gems to come to us...... Thank you so much for sharing that.
I didn't know it existed.

Glen says to Steve L, "you are one of the better guitar players in the world." Well, I knew that, but hearing Glen say it, WOW, What a high to Steve L to hear those words
coming from Glen. Very nice.
