Now you're talkin'! :) Saw them quite a few times back in the day, great shows! They always had amazing lazer/light shows too. Those were the days, puts a smile on face every time I hear Magic Power, great tune. Very underrated band.

A couple other favorites LIVE......

Somebody's Out There http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGZ2yMPZlKg
Rocky Mountain Way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_350v-Gi3M

Just One Night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVtsKuj22vQ (an Eric Martin/Neal Schon song)

:) Great to see them get their Canadian Hall of Fame award here in the 'Dome last year, from good friend Tom Cochrane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_0LY8kRDB4

Still one of my favorite bands and concerts I've attended. Regret only being able to see them once.

If they can't get their shit back together, Rik needs to get a new group...Deen would be perfect on drums/vocals...maybe a Marco Mendoza on bass. Play Triumph/Journey and write some original stuff. I'm there. I guess it's too early in the day to be drinking, but it is Friday and 5 oclock somewhere.

A combination of being inducted in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the wishes of Rik's brother when he passed away (cancer) helped lead the guys to a reunion. Triumph performed two shows last year - Sweden Rock Festival and Rocklahoma. There were plans for a North American Tour this year...but I am sure the recession played a major role in a tour not coming together for the band.

Just as a reminder...I have Rik coming back to Texas in November - Poor David's Pub in Dallas, TX on Friday, November 20 - www.poordavidspub.com
